My job takes me places I otherwise could not be bothered to go to, in this case, Winchester, Indiana. Its a small town 2 hours outside of Indianapolis. Probably no more than 7,000 people. Winchester is notable for its gigantic glass factory and its cool old courthouse.
They also have a Sherman tank on the courthouse lawn.
I came to Winchester to look for an investment property for sale, namely the old Randolph Hotel across from the court house. Sadly, the 28 unit converted apartment building didnt meet my requirements, but it was cool nonetheless to see.
Built in the early 1900s.
If you are ever in rural eastern Indiana, you should check it out. Its a town stuck in a different time.
